LU Cleantech’s purpose is to acquire significant stakes in companies in various stages of development, to balancing the calculated risk with reasonable risk.
LU Cleantech intends to primarily invest in shares in the range 20 - 40%. To ensure quality and create transparency in the decision making LU Cleantech has developed a process to be followed for all transactions:
- LU Cleantech’s management identifies potential investment opportunities from innovation at Lund University or other Nordic innovation.
- LU Cleantech’s management makes an initial selection based on the investment criteria established by the Board and presents this for an investment committee.
- LU Cleantech’s management makes, assisted by an expert committee, a second selection and presents selected projects for LU Cleantech’s board.
- Decisions on investment is made by the Board.
